Special Analog 🎞️ Edition ~ Beginning of an Old Era I have updated (still ongoing) a section of my website, featuring Photography Notes, with the first which I talked about my vision & approach to shooting more on film. Photo 3 features my wonderful couple clients who had graciously allowed me to photograph them in black and white film. Portraiture on black and white film ~ Bringing one of historical roots of photography from the 19th century to the current times, a sense of nostalgia, and intentional focus mainly on light, texture, shadow and form. No noise of uncompromising tones. ~ Analog 🎞️ } Beautiful is, lots of imperfections. { Last part of latest roll shot with all manual PentaxMX. I attempted a few manual double exposures in between frames by cranking the film, layering land with the sea. Wasn’t quite what I had vision them to be, but I think it’s still worth a little exposure. Clearly, my PentaxMX has its focal-plane shutter curtain being dragged at high speed, causing the black shadows on some of the photos. Analog 🎞️ ~ Over six decades of Justice imprinted | The foyer of the old Supreme Court (the building was the last structure built in the style of classical architecture in the former British colony) • I stayed on to finish the CineStill roll after a special photoshoot last week, at the National Gallery. HARMONY I ~ Dear beautiful friends, As I was preparing this grand finale post for my HARMONY I, it was with much emotions of mix. It so happened I have hit meaningful 1.5k of lovely you just today 🕊️ It’s not a big number, but it means the whole world to me, a great milestone ~ because, it was exactly five months ago when I embarked into this new beginning to create more visual arts, I started to gain meaningful friendships and many new you since the first piece was created in May.
